What happens next
- To protect your privacy, we verify your identity before we act on your request: we may ask you for information that matches what we already have on file.
- We endeavor to respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time (up to 45 more days), we will tell you the reason and the extension in writing.
- An authorized agent who sends a request for a California resident must provide proof of authorization, and we may ask the resident to verify their identity directly with us.
- Colorado residents can appeal our decision on a request: choose “Another request, or an appeal of your decision on my request” and tell us which request you are appealing.
