How To Hire An Outdoor Party Rental Company

How To Hire An Outdoor Party Rental Company

Outdoor celebrations require an extra layer of consideration when planning an event. Working with a great party rental company will reduce headaches and avoid hassling surprises. Not every company is high quality so here are a few attention points as you weigh your options. Dependability and reliability are the cornerstones to any great working relationship. Do not take any chances on your event success. Work with a company that you know. Ask for references, referrals, and reviews to properly vet your party equipment rental supply house. Flexibility is an important trait for an outdoor party rental company to meet your needs if an event runs long, budget constraints exist and/or specialty requests are present. Variety of offerings can be an essential question when reviewing an event equipment rental house. Themes, styles and package varieties can give your event that extra special feeling and create a lifetime memory for you and your guests. Clean and well-maintained equipment is an absolute requirement for health and safety of your guests. Make sure your party rental company can share cleaning protocols for tents, tables, chairs, china, dinnerware and any other equipment that you may need for the event. Creativity and experience can go a long way when working with a great outdoor party rental company. Rely on the experts for tips and suggestions to make your event memorable and exciting. Our Top 7 Favorite Festivals in Colorado

Our Top 7 Favorite Festivals in Colorado

There are over 800 festivals each year in the US (US Law Group 2021) and Colorado has some of the best. Uncover Colorado has created an annual calendar for easy access to attend festivals all year long. Here are 7 of our very favorites: Denver Beer Festival – This is one of the largest celebrations of beer in the country. Grab your mug and prepare for tasting at this incredible festival held during the fall! Frozen Dead Guy Days – The lore of this story includes a cryopreservation of a former resident of Nederland, CO. where this festival is held each March. Complete with blue grass bands and coffin races, this is a one-of-a-kind event. Taste of Vail – Amazing food, incredible wine, beautiful mountain scenery. Do we need to say more? Cinco de Mayo – Did you know that Denver has one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the US? Celebrate the Latino community in style by attending this annual festival. Strawberry Days – It is hard to believe that this festival has been happening in Glenwood Springs for over 125 years! If you love the strawberry as much as we do, get into the jam by checking out this festival each June! Hot Air Balloon Rodeo – Who says New Mexico has the only great hot air balloon festival around?! Head up to Steamboat Springs in July where hot air balloon operators partake in rodeo tricks like dipping the basket of the balloon in the nearby lake, a stunt you will not soon forget. Elk Fest – Elk are a staple to our Colorado community so of course they have their own special weekend. Head up to Estes Park at the beginning of October when these majestic beasts bugle, a sign of the pending mating season. Want more? There are hundreds to choose from. Just visit UncoverColorado.com for the complete list. Planning a festival? Contact Wright Group Event Services for all of your equipment rental needs!

Festival Planning – Are You Ready?

Festival Planning - Are You Ready?

Hosting a festival can be an incredible way to engage customers and community in a fun event. There are a lot of details to consider when reviewing this gathering format that if missed, could result in a not great event. Below are five common mistakes we have seen over the years of renting festival equipment to event planners and corporate managers over the years. Order enough hydration stations. We attended a music festival a few years ago that was held on a very hot summer day. The event planners underestimated the amount of water the attendees would need to stay hydrated and cool while watching their favorite musicians. Add in the second mistake made that include no shade options for people and heat stroke quickly became an issue. Check all AV equipment for proper set up. It may seem like a no brainer to test out equipment after it has been set up, but we have seen our fair share of pros who rely on the muscle memory of set up and fail to test before the event. Sound checks, light checks and any other special effect should be tested at least twice before the festival begins, and at least once a day of the festival is a multi-day event. Have enough restrooms for the population. Consider having at least one portable restroom per 50 people at an event. Anything less could lead to a miserable crowd and potential property damage as they look for alternatives. Double check all permitting requirements. Working with local host communities, municipalities and other government agencies to know what permits are needed and bylaws (like noise ordinances) in place can ensure that you do not plan an event that is illegal. Consider trash collection and clean up. Too often, we have worked with planners who work their budgets to highlight amazing acts, provide for fun and festivity, and review safety and security. But cleaning up after the event is just as critical. Make sure you have enough trash, recycling and compost bins throughout the event to encourage participants to pick up after themselves. Have a small team dedicated throughout the event who concentrate on trash pick up and emptying of bins. Then when the event is complete do a thorough clean up effort of the community space. Anything less could mean fines and potential future refusal for permits. If you are an event planner or corporate meeting planner who is considering a festival as your event theme, contact The Wright Group Event Services team. Fencing, AV equipment, tents, stages, hospitality trailers, power, lighting, catering trucks and more are all available to you through our facilities. We look forward to serving you!
